KYAAAA ok So I recommend watching some youtube videos about colour theory and values and stuff because they give you more of a visual understanding, and might include some key pieces of info that i missed, This one is rlly helpful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNtMAxYaGyg BUT there are things he doesn't touch on the overall flow of the characters colour palette needs to be kept in mind, warmer skin tones are going to complement warm hair colours/accessories and vice versa. I just eyeball it but for beginners u might want to filter the colours slightly to make them look more cohesive. ITS FINE to incorporate colours from the opposite side of the colour wheel but just try to keep them to a minimum as to not crowd the pony ^ If you make mostly cosplays then you don't really have to pay attention to the colour palettes, moreso how the colours flow 2gether you also have 2 keep the colour values in mind, yellow has the lightest value and blue has the darkest, when shading I recommend pulling the shadows closer to blue/purple and the highlights closer to yellow. The shift shouldn't be too intense and it gives a much more visually pleasing contrast the atmosphere of the game is also something to keep in mind, saturated colours are going to stand out more against the bright backgrounds in ponytown. That isn't to say you HAVE to use saturated colours, there are plenty of people who use desaturated ones and still look great, its more just a personal preference 4 me :rabbit::rabbit: Also I've seen you around colour picking me Please don't.... I said to just ask for help for a reason 😭
